and near the river mouths. Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, these "freight trains"
are deadly on attacks. Fishing live baits in combination with top water techniques
also attract arm-wrenching strikes! Snook, Pompano, and a variety of spirited Jacks
and Snappers are among the many other willing species available.

structure in the area the Matapalo Rock, home to large numbers of predators and
other occasional surprises such as sharks. Punta Burica, located at the southernmost
